Our Story

In March 1955, a beautiful and lovely lady, Macaria Daria was gifted a very fertile land by her father. The land, raw, and undeveloped, was the prime hunting ground for the family, and they hunted deer, and other mammals as food source for the family. Over the years, with back breaking toil, love, and loads of financial support by Antonio, grandson of Macaria, and his wife, Aurora, developed the land to become the beautiful mango orchard of today. Progressing over the years, Macaria’s great grandchildren have taken the challenge to continue the tradition of caring for the land, by adding infrastructure to support farm operations, and providing employment to local families, as well as growing the book of business by planting other vegetable crops, and adding livestock. As difficult as the task of caring for the orchard, the vegetable farm, and the livestock, the grandchildren are striving to do so with as many sustainable solutions as possible. Composting, crop rotation, and intercropping are some of the ways to make sure that the land stays healthy, not only for the soil, but for the staff that care for the land itself. Today, the orchard and the farm are as healthy as it can be, and the great grandchildren envision providing more product and vegetables to you from our farm to your table.
